How much do you love your family and friends?

If the answer is A LOT, then you need to make these. This dish can be prepped up to 2 days early. They taste amazing either straight out of the oven or at room temperature, so you can even cook early in the day, leaving your oven free for the rest of the meal.

Jalapeño Bacon Wrapped Dates Filled with Black Garlic & Sun Dried Tomato Cream Cheese

Ingredients: 4 ounces cream cheese, room temperature 4 ounces black garlic cloves 4 ounces sun dried tomatoes 30 dates, pitted

10 slices jalapeño flavored bacon ***

Directions: 1. Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees.

2. Place cream cheese, black garlic cloves and sun dried tomatoes in a food processor and process until smooth.

3. Stuff mixture inside the pitted dates until you’ve used up all of the mixture.

4. Cut bacon slices in 3 pieces each. Wrap each piece of bacon around each date and secure with a toothpick.

5. Place on a parchment lined sheet pan and bake 20 minutes or until bacon is cooked through.

If you wanna be a bit fancy, trade out the darkened toothpicks for fresh clean ones when the dates come out of the oven. ***If you can’t find jalapeño flavored bacon, just add about a teaspoon of chipotle in adobo to the cream cheese mixture.
